Members and Frequent Attenders:
Update your information for our directory here. Our directory doesn't just include official members. If you attend frequently (including our "winter folks") and have a photo in the directory, you may periodically ask for an updated copy of the directory.
Subscribe to our very occasional texts! We try to keep these to important and very time sensitive announcements. ("Tropical Storm Zebra is moving in fast. Tonight's activities are cancelled.") Text CPFAMI to 888-858-0716, CrossPointe's text-only line. BTW, all responses to our texts are received ONLY by the church office.
We rely on email for most non-urgent communications, so mark "News@mycpf.org" and "Office@mycpf.org" as important contacts!
Bible Study:
There are a number of good Bible study sites: they each have strong points.
Here are a few you might like to look at:
StepBible.org is an extremely helpful website and very well done. It is also available in many languages.
BibleProject.com offers videos, podcasts, and classes to help guide you as you study God's Word.
BlueLetterBible.com has a large number of translations and has easy-to-see Greek and Hebrew.
BibleHub.com has a wide range of helps. Ed is currently teaching from the 1995 edition of New American Standard - a direct link to that version is here.)
BibleGateway.com lets you turn off the footnotes, etc, for easy copying and pasting of scripture.
BibleStudyTools.com is very customizable - signing up for an account allows you to keep your notes online.
PreceptAustin.org has an excellent selection of maps and tools, and an easy-to-use word study.
StudyLight.org has a nice search tool, making it easy to find what you are looking for.
Purchasing Christian Books:
ChristianBook.com is a wonderful Christian site with a large selection of books, Christian materials, and decor at excellent prices.
LifeWay.com is also an excellent source for a wide variety of Christian books and materials. Our Children's Life Groups use Lifeway materials.
Amazon.com may have what you're looking for at a reduced price, although descriptions may not be accurate. Please be aware that a book Amazon labels as "Christian" may not be biblical at all, as they rely to a large extent on the descriptions given to them by the author/publisher.
